If you choose to bet on the ‘total’, you are no longer concerned with who wins the game. Instead, the bet is based on the total score that is decided according to football match predictions. This bet is also known as ‘over-under betting’. Let’s say the sportsbook sets the total at 40.5. In this case, you would place a bet on whether the game would end with a score over 40.5, or under 40.5.
